The NetStream Education service plans are designed to save you  a lot of money over regular hosting vendor plans by allowing you to configure only the needed services for each of your staff members.  For example, many of your staff may require nothing more than a great web-accessible email interface and perhaps the ability to use an existing email client program such as Eudora while a few others want to have the full functionality of desktop Outlook.  The NetStream Education service plans will allow you to do just this.

The sections below explain each part of a NetStream Education Exchange Hosting plan and has an example of the automation control panel you will use when you configure your subscription.

The first NetStream Education service plan is a Month-to-Month plan.  With this plan you will be billed monthly and you will be under no obligation to keep the NetStream service - you may cancel anytime with this plan.  The Month-to-Month plan has the highest mailbox charges under the Education plans.

The NetStream Education service plans also allow you to SAVE even more by choosing an extended service period.  You will have the choice between a 1 to 3 year service period beyond the Month to Month Non-Contract plan.  By choosing an extended service period you will save as follows:

• 1 Year Plan    - SAVE 10% over the Month to Month Non-Contract plan
• 2 Year Plan    - SAVE 20% over the Month to Month Non-Contract plan
• 3 Year Plan    - SAVE 30% over the Month to Month Non-Contract plan

Example

Once you have chosen your service period you will be given the option to add additional features such as:

• Additional Storage
• Add additional 100MB Public Folders
• Add More BASIC Mailboxes
• Add Wireless Services
• Add Desktop Outlook Access

If you choose to add additional mailboxes, these will be BASIC mailboxes with Outlook Web Access (OWA), POP3 and IMAP only.  If you wish to have desktop Outlook access you will have the option on the same store screen to add that feature.

• $3.52/mo Outlook Access upgrade per mailbox for 1 Year service agreement
• $3.12/mo Outlook Access upgrade per mailbox for 2 Year service agreement
• $2.73/mo Outlook Access upgrade per mailbox for 3 Year service agreement

Here is an example Hosted Exchange order:

You have 65 staff members, 40 of them are regular ED teachers and 5 are administration, 5 are special education staff, and 5 are support staff.  With the Education Service Plan you can configure the following example options:

• Full 3 year subscription
• 40 Staff will have BASIC mailboxes with Outlook Web Access, POP3 and IMAP support
• All 25 additional staff will require desktop Outlook access - so you will add in 25 desktop Outlook
• All 5 administrators also need Microsoft Active Sync Mobile Access
• 1 administrator has a BlackBerry® wireless device
